Dear Phi Pi Members,
As esteemed academic, clinical and administrative nurses, we did not get to be a Sigma nurse without a lot of planning, direction and hard work. However, in current times we may find ourselves on unfamiliar ground, that ground of uncertainty. We are used to planning and following a path; yet with COVID 19 in our world, we are faced with uncertainty. Yet even in uncertainty, there are some things of which we can be ‘certain’.
We are certain that we are educated. We are certain that we are professional. We are certain that we have and can access resources, for ourselves, families, and those we serve. We are certain that we are ‘so much more than just the cords’. We are certain that we are #phipiproud.
In these times, please remember, you are part of the of one of the most prestigious organizations in the world and we have your back. Sigma and Phi Pi are here, and we all need to be available to support each other in whatever comes. As the frontline of healthcare, we will undoubtably be called upon to act. I invite you (if you have not already) to set up your “Circle” profile and join me in the “Circle” in these days and weeks ahead. Let us support each other and our world as we get through the COVID 19 pandemic. For our Chamberlain Colleagues and Students, please find more information at: https://www.chamberlain.edu/coronavirus
