🍂 A Message from the Phi Pi Chapter President 🍂

Hello Phi Pi Members,

As the leaves turn and the brisk air of fall begins to surround us, I'm filled with renewed hope and excitement. The change of seasons reminds us that transformation is part of our journey—and this fall, we have so much to embrace and look forward to!

Firstly, mark your calendars for November 8–11, 2025, because Sigma’s 48th Biennial Convention is just around the corner in Indianapolis. This is our chapter’s time to come together with more than 2,000 nursing leaders—learning, connecting, and celebrating the very best of what Sigma embodies. From enriching sessions and powerful plenaries to dynamic networking and poster presentations, you don’t want to miss this opportunity. At the heart of this gathering—and everything we do—is Sigma’s 2023–2025 Organizational Call to Action: "Represent". It stands on three foundational pillars:

• Reflect: model a caring culture through care of self, others, and our environment. 

• Respect: cultivate cultural humility through listening, learning, and leading with awareness and compassion.

• Respond: meet the evolving demands of contemporary practice with professionalism, perspective, and perseverance.

This fall, I challenge each of us to live out these ideals in every aspect of our lives, within our own chapter, in our workplaces, in our communities, and even beyond. Let’s reflect in our daily actions, respect the rich diversity among us, and respond by lifting nursing forward with confidence and courage.

As leaves fall, let’s rise together renewed, respectful, and ready to respond. I encourage you all to explore the convention details, consider attending, and lean into what it means to Represent as Phi Pi members.
